Vendor booth setup checklist
A good booth is planned before move-in day, built so shoppers can see your best pieces from the aisle, and kept full between restocks. Use this checklist to set up and run your booth at Vendors Blvd, or at any staffed boutique marketplace.
1. Before move-in
- Note your booth’s exact size from the floor plan (booths run 60–289 sq ft) and sketch your layout to scale.
- Plan your fixtures: every booth has a power outlet, and you bring and set up your own shelving, displays and lighting, so the booth looks like your brand.
- Ask how items must be tagged for the shared checkout, and prepare your tags before move-in day.
- Decide your restock schedule (weekly, every two weeks or monthly) and the stock level you need to keep the booth full between visits.
- Price every item. Shoppers buy more confidently when every price is easy to see.
2. Building the display
- Use height: shelves, risers and wall space let a small booth show more without feeling crowded.
- Put best sellers and new arrivals at eye level and at the front edge, where shoppers walking the aisle see them first.
- Group items by color, collection or use so the booth reads as one brand, not a pile of products.
- Leave a little empty space; a crowded table is harder to shop.
- Add a clear sign with your brand name and a line about what you make.
3. Keeping it working
- Restock on your schedule and fill gaps the same day you see them.
- Refresh the front of the booth often so returning shoppers notice something new.
- Change displays with the seasons and the holidays.
- Use your monthly payout statement to see what sells, then order and display more of it.
- Point your social followers to the store’s address and hours so they can find your booth.
Choosing a booth size
Vendors Blvd has 204 booths in four types: perimeter booths along the walls, aisle booths, center islands and front-window spaces. Smaller booths start at 10 × 6 ft; the largest front-window space is 17 × 17 ft. Compare them on booth sizes & pricing.
